Eye worm? Or something else?

Still new to this posting thing. One of my chickens ( 5 months) was attacked by one of my neighbors chickens. Her eye was in bad shape all scarred over, and we've kept her warm and safe in the coop.
Today I noticed her eye looks much better but has that weird white stringy thing on it. My husband said it reminds him of a parasite.
Anyone have any idea or have seen this before?

Eyeworms are no longer than 3/4 inch to 1 inch long and there would be more of them in the tear duct. Could it be healed scar tissue? Gently try pulling it out, then apply neosporin in her eye.

I wish I could tell for sure. It's really bothering her I did find a photo that looks the same and it was called Mansons Eyeworm. I worry I'm not doing enough and the vet doesn't see chickens.

looks like scar tissue my rooster had an eye blister and after it popped, and he healed he had this (something very similar)on his eye
