Eyes haven't opened on a few days old chick

I lent an incubator to my children's school.
There were 4 healthy chicks, then the teacher took the incubator home for the weekend.
The temp change caused the next 4 chicks to have spraddle foot, which your site has help me understand and she is going to attempt to fix. (I thought my friend's snake was going to get a lovely meal)

One of the chicks eyes have not yet opened. Is is blind? Has it got an eye infection? Is it a deformity with the eye lids? Is there anything we can do or is it a trip to my friend's snake?

Could be "glued" shut by gunk from the hatch. Use warm water and a washcloth and wash the eyelids and try to gently open them. Could be there are no eyes or the lids are just stuck.

Sadly the little chick died.
The school children buried it in the school garden and sang a song for it.
How cute!!
