Toad back up beside Eerie and growled "I'm not sure, but he better not have hurt Jay!" Anger hardened his voice.Eerie immediately gathered the chicks under her wings, surprised at how natural it felt.
“Toad!“ she hissed, panic tightening her chest. “Who is that with Jay?”
