Toad bolted out and what he saw took his breath away. Fern was laying her side, gasping in pain. Coal and others were frantically searching for Eerie. Toad crowed to get order and to control the situation.

Coal ran to Eerie, but couldn't find her. He ran back. "Do you know where she is?", he asked, out of breath.

Toad's head snapped up when he hear the shrieks of pain and alarm coming from the clearing.

Ruby shook her head "no" and took her wing off of Fern.

“Kinda- in the midpoint- of my sides?” Gasped Fern. “No, no. Lower. OWW nope you got it.”
Sage felt Fern’s sides with her feet.
Sage then kicked Fern. Really, really hard. Fern cried out in pain, and then…it stopped. The pain stopped.

Fang looked at poor Eerie, looking into her blue eyes. Fangs head snapped upward. "EERIE! Someone at camp is screaming... for you! We need to go!"

Ruby turned her head to Toad. "Toad! Where is Eerie?!" She yelled out.

Toad felt a wave of grief, then took control of himself and demanded everyone's attention again.

Eerie ran towards camp. What greeted her was a strange sight. Sage stood over Fern, with a foot on her side. A bunch of hens were clustered around Fern. Toad stood nearby. Eerie refused to look at him, and ran over to Fern.
