"Thanks! Thank you, me too." She said. She pulled Dew over with her wing. "This is Dewdrop but instead we call her Dew."

Jay dust bathed with Finch, Dusk, and Willow, they squealed in excitement. Finch and Dusk had just gotten the small wing feathers, Willow still had her fluff.

(They should come meet the other chicks! Splash’s babies are Sunflower, Midnight, and Dew. Fern has Pine, Spark, Moon, River, and Frost.)

“Did you name any of them Daffy?” Daffy asked. She looked around at the other chicks.

Fern pulled Moon a little closer, away from Sparrow’s malevolent glare. “She’s beautiful, isn’t she? I’m so glad she hatched.” She said crisply, narrowing her eyes at Sparrow.
