Cloud walked through the bushes, a slight skip to her walk. Her head held high, she walked through camp. A group of pullets were soaking up the afternoon sun. She sighed. I can't wait to be a mother, she thought contently as she watched two chicks play fight.

Cave spotted Cloud as she too, walked into the camp. "Hi Cloud!" She called fluttering over.

Cloud jumped at the voice behind her, and whirled around in time to see Cave stop in front of her. "Hi." She said, a little guiltily.

(So, Fern has the blue egg from the dead hen. Now, there are three things she needs: She needs to tell Snowberry about the murdered hen. He needs to know she is hatching the egg, that there was a strange hen on their territory, and most importantly, that there was a fox.
She needs advice from an experienced broody.
And she has an egg she needs to lay.)
