EZ Frame Chicken Coop Build

Well we are all done with the scraps coop! I tried using the leftover roof pieces and it looked awful 😣 they wouldn’t sit flush on top of each other so that the sealant could do its job. You can see how uneven it all looked and my perfectionist self just wasn’t able to let that fly 😆

So! Take two—we bought one long 3x8 piece and cut it down and it’s SO much better! 😍

We are going out of town next week just overnight and I want these babies out of the house…so they are breaking it in while they get adjusted to the outside :)

I’m proud of this one because it was completely done by scratch. I designed it and built it myself! Who knew I could do that?? 😍

Husband gets a reprieve on the EZ coop cuz his sister is in town, so we will have to finish it after she goes back to NY!

Wow! That turned out so well!
I hate ya couldn't make the leftover roofing work but the 2nd one does look well worth the expense!
Cannot wait to see how the coop duplex turns out!

Love it!

Well, if you've been watching the weather, you likely know that CA is WET. So we have been delayed again in taking the last steps on the EZ Frame coop! The sawing left and door attachment and such needs to be outside and site prep for the run won’t happen until things dry out 😩 I’m very impatiently waiting…so impatient in fact, that I used more scrap materials and some added costs…and made another small coop with built runs haha. We were able to do all the cutting inside and put out part of it on a day the rain quit for more than half the day! The second run will go on the other side—we just finished it today! This is going to be the “Love Shack” for my breeding pairs I want to use each season!
