This link is great - thanks! My DH has a huge pile of old windows he rescued from the renovation of several college dorm buildings in our old town. He's looking for ideas to use them, and some of these could be just the thing.

I'm going to dig a root cellar out at the heritage farm where I'll be putting my vegetable plot next year. It's got some great areas for it, and it'll be right there when I harvest. The clay in my yard here is brutal, so that's a better option.
