I am 28, but if you want to think of me as some child that doesn’t know how life works I could care less. Abortion isn’t murder, the baby has to be under a certain age so it can’t think, it can’t live on its own, and it doesn’t hurt the baby. It’s better than that child growing up, living in a bad family with parents that didn’t want them in the first place, and having to suffer. Jeez how old are you? You are acting very immature.

I’m not going to get too involved because I can easily see this spiraling out of control and turning into something bigger than it has to be.

They do at least two thing:
make some people feel safer
cause some people to complain and argue

I am leaving because I don’t want to talk to people that care more about their own comfort then public safety. Masks have been proven to help, but do you know what has been proven to kill? Not wearing one. Grow up and then maybe I can have a civilized conversation with any of you.

I agree that the same medical conditions that prevent mask wearing are also good reasons for those people to stay home and isolated.

But the store is probably trying to get most people to wear masks without getting themselves sued. It's like picking low-hanging fruit: lots of gain for little effort. As a business policy, I think it makes sense. As a public health policy, I think it makes more sense than having no-one in masks.

You are right stores are trying to protect themselves.... at least the ones lucky enough to be allowed to open by gvmnt.

I have quit wearing a mask. Sign or not. Mask goes in my pocket. If I'm close to a sick or elder older person I put it on. So far not one store has said anything.

Illinois churches were mandated closed but allowed liquor stores and weed shops open. If covid was that dangerous they would have closed those too.
If covid was that dangerous they would mandate everyone wear a mask regardless of medical conditions.
This is an election year. Everything is political

Guys take it easy. You are not going to change someone's mind once it is set. This is not an argument over the existance or deadliness of the virus. Not a argument at all. This is more of a discussion over the use of civil disobedience in regards to masks. If you disagree with it that is up to you to wear a mask. I applaud you for exercising your constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. For those that dont I applaud you as well. Just be a good human being and wash your hands often and cover your mouth when you cough.

If you drive a car you care more about your own convenience than you do about my safety. 4.4 million auto accidents last year and 40k deaths. Clearly you only drive for the chance to hurt people. (See I can do that trick too.)
