So what's the difference between Farm Town and Farmville?

Farmville is more cartoony than Farm Town. I didn't care for it much until I leveled out in Farm Town, then I started playing it and now I am having fun with it.

I am so hooked on these crazy games.....I can no longer expand my farm on FarmVille or FarmTown because I already have the biggest I make myself nuts planting and harvesting but I can't STOP!!!!
