Facial swelling due to colds accumulation -- chinese silkie

Hi,

I got four chinese silkies, but when they arrived they got colds. (Maybe due to the fact it was transported by a truck and heavy wind blowing)
The male is the one with more symptoms as one side of its nasal sinus become swollen. Tried pressing thinking the accumulations will exit nasal opening. But noticed if pressing the eyes become wet. Had already treated all four of them with amoxicillin+paracetamol+bromhexine+tylosin mixed in their water for 12days but still had the swelling. No lack of appetite or gasping for air noticed. Just the still little swollen sinus. Their breakfast is always mixed with chopped garlic. During afternoon multivitamins+probiotics mixed into their drinking water.

I am thinking if it is possible to use a nasal suction to suction the swelling? Or should i just leave it be. He is the only one having that swelling on its one side.

Almost looks like possible lice infestation. Any sneezing, nasal discharge or coughing?

This looks like a respiratory disease called mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG. It causes sinus infection, watery eyes with drainage that crusts, and is chronic for life. Symptoms may go away with certain antibiotics, such as Tylosin, Denagard, or tetracyclines. It can come back when they become stressed or molting. It is spread to other poultry by direct contact. This looks like a respiratory disease called mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG. It causes sinus infection, watery eyes with drainage that crusts, and is chronic for life. Symptoms may go away with certain antibiotics, such as Tylosin, Denagard, or tetracyclines. It can come back when they become stressed or molting. It is spread to other poultry by direct contact. Is there herbal treatment effective for MG?

No herbal treatments will treat a bacterial respiratory disease. You can clean the eyes with saline or wipe off the crust, and apply Terramycin or a similar ointment twice a day. Some chickens might get better without any treatment, but MG is a chronic disease, always in their bodies, and they are carriers for life. During times if stress, such as molting or in very severe weather, symptoms might again reappear.
