FAIL ... 8 Stiches

I did that, I was processing a rooster, his name was "Joseph" because he had a coat of many colors. My neighbor complained so maybe I was mad that had I processed him. Don't process when mad. I nailed my finger not my thumb and got 3 stitches. By the way my doctor asked what the rooster's name was, I said "Joseph." He chuckled because that was his name.

Thanks guys! :hugs Good advice here!

@Overo Mare I'm not sure how it really feels because I'm taking Ketorolac (just an Nsaid, but the best one ever, so I'm good, lol).

I'm so right-handed that trying to do stuff and open things is a mite ridiculous. @ChooksinChoppers is the best!

Like you @gimmie birdies I didn't really want to do it, but with a plan for breeding I knew I had to get over that and practice culling cockerels. Well... I'm still not sure how I ended up cutting with my left hand over the right, except the "trying to get more of his neck out of the cone" part.

Good news is I had a guy message about the cockerels, so they left this morning to meet their fate at other hands :p

I also recommend a cutting glove. We use them at work amd only one person has ever cut through it. She took that one home as a trophy, but hasn't done it again.

Wow.

We've never had anyone cut through one, but we did have a burn-through once -- the cutting bar for the plastic wrap dispenser gets pretty hot.
