Failed again

The way I trained my guineas to go in the coop for the night was to herd them in before it gets dark. I also herded them at different times of the day to get them used to going in whenever I want them to go in.

I also only feed and water in the coop so they are used to going in the coop off and on all day long.

Whether you use treats or herding, you have to make sure they are in before dark. Once they start laying and some of them go broody, the hens that are broody on hidden nests will never go in on their own.
They go in the coop with no issues but if I don't put on a light they cower together in a corner on the floor.
