I didn't know it was against the law for a 5 year old to tan.

This was all over the news today... she plead not guilty in court today. I'll guess she'll have to go back again, although it doesn't seem like they have much to go on. Local news is making it seem like her child had serious burns and that she was actually in the bed, even though it's clear they have nothing to prove that she was and the child doesn't appear to have been badly burned, as she has nothing to show she was burned now.

I cannot imagine prosecuting her without some unknown evidence and as someone suggested why is she even in court... bored DA? She does look like a 70 year old eskimo. I was shocked to read she was only 44.
