Msbear, I really like the new duplex. That is a very nice looking design and I agree with the runs added it will be perfect. I plan on getting my daughter bantams in the spring for 4H and I was looking into some polish for myself and I am really going to look harder at your design in the spring. There are no patents or copyrights on the design are there?

I'd love to see your take on it. There are some bycers that contacted me about my cart coop and I gave them ideas on how to better it. It's fun to see my ideas come to life and even better to see others appreciate them so much. Thanks ALL!

...I assume you mean mine. We started the runs this weekend and almost had them done when the rain came on

The kids have been a great help and they have really gotten "into" chicken farming. Daughter wants golden sebrights in the spring and I want either polish or silkies, maybe both. Now if I could just turn the wife around

As for the run, well that's going a bit slow. I put up a 10x10 temporary run from an old dog kennel I wasn't using and plan on building the "real" run around it and then dismantle the kennel. The weather isn't cooperating with me with the rain and freezing rain almost every day that I am not working. But at least they can enjoy some outdoor space. I'll keep trying, but now that the holidays are fast approaching money is getting tighter.

Wasn't trying to steal any thunder, I just noticed I was quoted in rebbetzin's post.

Sadly, I have no roosters to be pimpin em to so my screen name is just a front for someone I'm not. A ruse if you will.

I think that is a big step for him!! Who didn't want chickens EVER!!
