But Michaels has a 50% off coupon starting tomorrow, and Joann's will honor it. I'm happy to report that Cheeky Chick and I are now fully stocked with the RH chocolate.

Oh tricky tricky! I didn't have time to read the small print. I was hoping to get out and get some yarn today, but things got too crazy, so maybe it's a good thing since Michael's 50% off starts tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

Ok after I got home I went back on FB to look for the coupon and the one I found is for 50% off good until Oct 31st. It excludes sales priced & clearance items and also Red Tag Fabrics. The fine prints does include a list of exclusions, such as sewing machine, classes etc but yarn is not on that list. Woohooo!

I didn't find the coupon on fb. It was a google result. I think it was bogus. Glad the fb one works. Bring a Michaels coupon too. Maybe they'll take both. They took my 40% off Michaels coupon and a 20% of entire purchase coupon.

I finished my first square and started my second. I'm loving the fall colors and incorporating some of my scraps for the first few rounds. So far I'm just doing traditional granny squares, but I have a couple of other patterns I want to try.

I had to go get more yarn today, b/c I knew I didn't have enough with all the new swappers

I toyed with the idea of some new colors and a second different block, but like the one I'm working on so well I think I'll do all my set of blocks in it. I did get two new colors to add to the umbree effect.
