Ok, as promised, here are pictures of my progress,  I have 8 and the first three I did, I totally forgot that I had white yarn to use in it, or rather "Aran" (whatever that is).

So, here they are so far...

Sorry about the blurriness.  All the same pattern, just different color arrangements.

Wow, these are beautiful and I love the color combo!!

Good morning swappers, hope all is going well w/ everyone. I haven't been on much this past few days, very hard shift at work. I'm heading back today, but hoping for a better shift.

I was in JoAnnes today and they had a nice Granny Square book for $15. Why would anyone buy a book when there are just as nice patterns for square on line for free? Five more days til AL, and I have to say I'm in a mood and not looking forward to it. My plan is to wait til I get there to start on my squares. I hate to fly and everything seems in the air, (no pun intended) until I get home. I like the security of home I guess. It's hard to explain.

We just watched the Marigold hotel movie and that may be part of how I'm feeling right now. No one ever talks about getting old and how to deal with it. My guess is they just pretend it's not happening.

The reason I would buy a granny book (and have several) is that I can take them with me and there are a bunch in there that aren't available for free online and when I looked through it, that one struck me as one I had to do. But, I would not pay $15 for it. When I get any books they are either secondhand online or I have a 40-50-60% off coupon to purchase it with.

I hope you have a wonderful time while you are in AL Rancher and don't worry too much about everything at home while you are gone.

Just got back from my mother in law's and saw her blocks. She just has a couple more round of the brown on two blocks to be completely finished, her blocks and colors are pretty, I didn't bring the camera so I can't post any pics.

I LOST MY SIZE F HOOK! I sent DW to Joannes for another but they don't carry Boye hooks. I have to get one before I leave. I can't believe I lost it, well misplaced it. DW is always picking up my stuff when I work with yarn. I just like to leave it where it is until I'm done but my GD gets into things so DW just bunches things up and doesn't do it neatly. Just shoves it in a bag. Ugh.

Creative people are never neat.
