That does sound like a fun idea. Would they be 6" or 12" squares?

I also finished my blanket. I used some from the Fall Swap before this so not all of the big ones went into it. It has a gold round to edge it.

It may be donated, but I have been too busy to decide where to! It's SUPER warm and cozy!

I have enough leftover 12" squares to make another blanket, just have to get some more 6" ones made.
I love how you mixed the 6 inchers in.

I had it all laid out beforehand, took a picture so I knew just how i wanted them and then ended up just randomly grabbing them as i was crocheting them together, lol. I do love how it turned out though. I didn't measure it but it's about 4' x4' and perfect size for curling up on the couch!

That is gorgeous! I love the use of small and big squares!

I like combination of large and small squares. I'd been thinking along those lines, but haven't done it yet. Maybe I will with the Winter swap.
Everyone's projects are beautiful.

I'm writing a pattern for a ruffled scarf. I was wondering if anyone would like to try the pattern for me and let me know if it needs corrections. I'm too close to the project to see if it works properly.

I usually adapt patterns to make them more individual, but this pattern is from scratch. I'd like to be able to duplicate the scarf, so I need the pattern to work.

Thanks. PM me if you're interested.

Just realized I didn't tell y'all! I got the block with the little owl on the branch! Yipee!!!!! Thanks KreativeKat (I think that's your name, not looking at the package)!!!!!

Now I'm looking at that "sampler" that Bleenie made. I might have to make some six inch squares to go with these 12" blocks so I can do something like that. I'm also thinking about Kassaundra's project - adding a backing to keep it from getting all wonky like crochet has a very bad habit of doing!

Here's another thought on a flower square swap. I wouldn't want to exclude anyone who doesn't think they can come up with a flower motif. How about the option of solid green squares?
