Here's another thought on a flower square swap. I wouldn't want to exclude anyone who doesn't think they can come up with a flower motif. How about the option of solid green squares?

What kind of colors were people thinking about??? I was thinking the blues/purples mixed w/ the yellows/oranges would make a pretty color combo. Anyone else have any ideas for color combos for the flowers.

I'd go for all the colors flowers come in, the ones you mentioned plus red, etc. The green would keep it grounded. It would also be a way to use up small bits of yarn.
