Oh no they stole my edit button!

I don't forsee any problems here, but I forgot I vowed not to do anymore squares for the church thing even though it's for a good cause. Some of the women are just to picky. Knitting is a bit harder to get the gauge. I did have a pattern, but forgot the size needle I used and the number of stitches. I think I have it now but they need to be done by Friday. It's only two 12" squares but I'm not as fast at knitting.

With crochet you just use a SC, HDC , or DC to bring it to size.

I'm not having any problems with getting to the 12" square. I'm using either H or I and 9 rounds works out perfectly on the classic granny. On other patterns for smaller squares, I just keep repeating the last row until I get there.

I've done 8 or 9 so far and there are 2 patterns that for me work out the best. I've done maybe 4 or 5 different patterns, but I'm going to stick to the 2 that I like best for the rest, I think.

I'm not a good knitter. And the sides always curl...

Found a traditional granny, with a twist that I like. So... got my first one complete. Lettuce, Mango, Merlot and of course chocolate.
More food crocheting!!!!

I like the diamonds in squares.

I've been experimenting w/ different ways to ombre the background blocks and then am going to place the tree in the block. That was my intention w/ this block too, but I think I'm not going to put the tree in this one, I really like how it turned out even w/o the tree.
