Not yet. I have found him a home but the hen he's with isn't big enough yet not to be squished by Merde. I learned that lesson. So she needs him as a companion till she gets a little bigger. I don't want her to be alone. He is HUGE! Only 7 weeks. He is gorgeous and I wish I could keep him. But at least he is getting a good home.

Because I am trying for the blue and white color and although Quatro is gorgeous he has a chocolate gene from his dad. He also has black. Merde may too but time will tell. So I think Merde is better suited for my "breeding" program.

We got about 10cm (~2½") of snow yesterday and it stuck over night. Today it is snow with a thin crust of ice on top and the Duckies are completely mad about it: No digging at all and the ground is still frozen too. This is what it looked like:

Waterfowl didn't seem to mind it...Chickens on the other hand spent the entire day under the deck Had to escort them back to the coop for bed!
