So what is the amount of fabric needed?

I got two yards and it is way to much. Unless you want to use some of the fabric for a border.

I did some calculations, I think that you may need about 2 yds of the pink because it has the 41/2" square. I did allow for some miss-cuts, and boo boos.

With my son leaving for Afghanistan Sept. 2, the changes at work with the paperwork for every student and having over 30 students, a new math curriculum, I'm in over in head. I wanted so badly to pull it off but I can't, and I know it's late and I deserve every name you are calling me right now. I hope someone who is a real whiz can pick up my slack, and please, forgive me eventually.
