Yeah any aged chickens. It'll be kinda like a "flea market" type set up, everyone keeps their chickens in their area and sale what they can and take back what dosen't sale. Depending on what part of NC you are from Marion is about an hour away from the NC border.

Sounds like a plan!!!!!!! I'm only about 30min from the Virginia border, up near Roanoke Rapids. I've already told my husband. I said, "Honey, they are having a chicken swap, so we can sell some of our extra chickens. So, I am going to go ahead and order those 25 bitties we talked about" Needless to say, he wasn't very excited (about ordering more). Guess I'll have to wait (on ordering more).

??????????????????CAN YOU EVER HAVE ENOUGH CHICKENS????????????

hao

That might be a pretty far trip The closet bigger city from Marion is around the Winston Salem area?? Roanoke is about 4 hours from here . 24354 is the zip code for Marion if you'd like to do a search to see how close it is.

It's going to be too far for me to drive so you can just pack up those millie cochins and send them to me...if you didn't keep my address I can re-send it to you

Hello! I'm new here! I would love to come. Any weekend is good as long as I have forewarning. I was hoping to make the show in powhatan on the 14th of August but I'm not sure who to contact to make sure its ok for me to bring animals and crafts to sell. If anyone knows who I should talk to about this swap or the august swap please let me know!

Winston Salem is about 4 hrs from me! BOO HOO HOO, I REALLY wanna come to a chickenstock.

Well, I could always come and just browse. I LOVE looking at chickens anyway. Heck, if I'm not at work, I am outside with the chickens or looking online to buy MORE chickens!!

Maybe I can come and just spend the day to see how one works. Let me know when final decisions are made. Can't wait!

I wish somebody would hold one closer to me. I always have to miss them. I sure could use a couple orphingtons hens or pullets of the blue variety and I would love a lavender silkie. What i found in Indiana and can't go all the way ouy there to get is a heavily feathered polish/silkie mix. It was just perfect and I can't get up there to get it.
