they are eating the finer "mash" consistancy chick starter. and eating a lot of it too!
yes, it is a mess, it gets everywhere . . . such is the price of adorable tiny chick goodness.

cleaning the brooder is not too bad though. i bought two of the same style plastic storage boxes so i can shuffle the babies to the clean one and then disinfect the dirty one to make it ready for the next day - easy!

I could die from their cuteness!!! I can't believe my five little eggies could be that cute in just over a week. My son will be beside himself. He loves little things!!
