My two week old Blue Swedish Ducks came home today, they’re in the brooder together. One of the ducklings is “sounding the alarm” which is the noise I heard my Pekins make as ducklings when I would separate the two ducklings. The alarm from the BS stops when I walk over to the brooder or talk to them. Any idea of what could be going on? The sound will not keep me up at night, I feel concerned for the new duckies. Will they be okay?

Then it looks to me that he/she may have some separation anxiety.

What I would do is to cuddle them a bit, spoil them, to get them to know that they are cared for by you
Aw poor kid! I’ll be taking them everywhere...ish. It’s gonna be the most spoiled duckie that’s ever ducked. 🦆👑

Sounds to me like he maybe just wants some attention or something and has you pretty well trained already! ;) :p :D
A blog I read from I thiiiink Tyrant Farms describes the humans as Duck Slaves. I may be there, with a little help from my Swedish Blues’ big brother and big sister.
