I have 4 hens and get about 8 dozen a month. So thats about 2 a week give or take a day or 2.

I sell my eggs from the driveway and also at farmers market. At one point I raised my prices and a "friend" told me she is special and wanted to pay the old price. I felt very disprespected by her. She is a real estate agent and when my dad's house was for sale- I was going to use her- but ended up selling it very quickly on my own- so she saved a few dollars on eggs- but lost a few thousand in karmatic real estate commission!
Interesting how things work out!

Ans as this thread is showing- we don't "make money" on our chicken eggs- it is a hobby that allows us to share good food!
