Funny story. I was wondering why hubby seemed doubly enthused over our Ayam Cemani as our Silkies. I'd gotten him Silkies and got our recent eggs thinking he would be jazzed (and let's face it, kiddo and I both love them too!) Turns out... when I'd asked him about his favorite chicken breeds, he said Silkies because he thought those were Ayam Cemanis (sounded similar). So this whole time, my sweet husband was "oh! That's so thoughtful! I love them!" about my getting him Silkies when... they are not really on his favorites list.
