Cool. That would look awesome with neons and guppies! K, as soon as I get the money I will send them. but it might have to wait till the 6th still, cause we are moving. I got a pic of Mel and Pearl. Thanks! I'm going to put videos on photobucket so you all could see them too. Excuse my dad burping in one of them... Lol, he was in the next room over and didn't know I was filming. I guess I forgot to say "Quiet on the set!!!" Lol...
Okay! I will stick to the 6th. Can I just fill the air myself? I've seen how they do it...Lol at your dad burping! Don't worry about it...my husband's always burping!![]()
I've got some stuff to do in the morning, but I'll be getting your money order after. Don't worry about sending the fry when you get the money order...you just go ahead and wait until the 6th. It'll be easier on you and the fry will be more developed by then, so it'll be easier on them too. Even if you have to wait until after the 6th, that's fine too. Just do whatever is best for you...I'm in no hurry.![]()
Remember not to feed the fry for a couple of days before mailing them out though. Remember too to go to Petsmart and have them fill the bag/s with air (I'd do it the day I was going to ship any fish out).![]()
Aww, they're beautiful!! Pearl is really pretty!
Oh ya know, Freddie and Pearl would make some really pretty fry. I had some that looked somewhat similar to Freddie. I was breeding for a certain color though, using yellow Guppies and Tequila Sunrise Guppies that had more red in them. I was kind of getting the color I wanted, but wanted more of an iridescence to them and wanted to lighten the red to a pinkish color. Then I used some that had platinum coloring to them. The fry came out with more of a pinkish coloring, like where Freddie has the redish color, like I wanted, and the pinkish and yellow coloring was spread a little farther, which was the direction I was headed in. They had a nice iridescence to them too. It was really pretty. I was trying to get the pinkish coloring deeper though. I finally succeeded with one of the fry that grew up into a gorgeous male. I was going to breed him with one of the females I picked to keep the color going. Then my best friend called, really upset, 'cause she put a fish in with her's that she shouldn't have. It wasn't really her fault though, 'cause the person at the fish shop said the fish would be a good fit in her tank. Well, it didn't go well with a community tank and it killed all her Guppies. She had some of mine that I had given to her, but the fish wiped them all out. I felt bad for her and after she rehomed the mean old fish, I gave her all my Guppies. See, her husband was supposedly interested in continuing with the breeding I started, claiming he was wanting to develop some show Guppies out of what I started by buying the more expensive ones to breed to (which I didn't have the money to do) and carrying on the color I was trying to keep going. I was really excited about that, but I guess he eventually lost interest. Had I known he was going to do that, I never would've given my good Guppies over to them.![]()
Thank you very much! I can't wait to see pictures!!!Cool! you are really quite the guppy-breeding professional! I am ordering two baby Platties from a friend. I can't wait to share some pics with you!

Two of the glass shrimp have eggs!!!!!!!!!! Yay! Wait.... NOW WHAT?!?!? What do I do for them, to protect the babies? I put the two mommas into a baby box, with a plant in it, and they are doing fine, but is there anything else I need to do? Thanks, help is much appreciated!
Cool! Thanks for the info! Also, my dad said that I should probably send 20 instead of 15, just in case some don't make it. Is that okay? Aw, Apple, I like that! I think that my feeders would eat them (the baby shrimp) cause they pick around the bottom a lot.Your money should be to you soon.![]()
If you have something to fill the bags with air, I don't see why not. It's just important that air gets filled in the bags or the fish won't make it.
As far as the shrimp, you can keep them separated from your fish or they're liable to eat the babies. Once the babies are too big to fit in your fish's mouths, they should be fine to go in there with them. You can throw an algae wafer in there with the shrimp, along with a little bit of fish food. I crumbled it up fine for the babies. You can blanche veggies for them too. Be sure not to use any fish food with copper sulfate in it though, as that's toxic to shrimp. Now if you only have Guppies in the tank the shrimp are in, since Guppies mainly stick to the top levels of the tank, as long as you have plenty of hiding spaces like rocks, caves, plants, etc. the babies should be okay 'cause they can hide out in them and stay away from the fish that way. Make sure to use a sponge filter so your babies don't get sucked up.
We went out the other night and we got Dayglows (they aren't the Glo-fish), black Neons, more regular Neons, and some X-Ray Tetras. Still need to get some more Cories. They didn't have any shrimp though. I may have to order those.
I also got a rabbit, lol! She's a Lionhead and she's 10 wks. old. She's absolutely adorable and I just love her. I need another animal like I need a hole in the head, but I couldn't resist her, as I've been wanting a rabbit for a long while now. I haven't had rabbits in yrs. and missed having one. We named her Apple.![]()
I do both, but I do more local. I'm going to line a box with styraphoam and put them into bags filled with air, and you HAVE TO send them over-night only, or they won't likely make it. Aw, too bad, I would give you some too! I charge .75* each, or 10 for $5 or 20 for $8. sometimes I give discounts though, just to get them off my hands if I have too many.Hey, um, l was just wondering. How can you mail fish that far without them dying. I thought you were just a local breeder, but you are sending Chickenbutwut babies. How much do you charge? I wish I could have some, but my parents wouldn't let me.
