happy solstice! the shortest day (as in daylight) of the year which means the days are going to start getting longer! & our girls are going to lay better.

I want sunshine not short!

Mine never even stopped laying!!!! We didn't light the coop because we wanted to give them a break, but I feel really bad that they're still laying. Take a break, girls!!

I don't know! They might have been younger than we thought they were? They didn't molt all at once! Poppy lost some feathers around her neck and grow them back in, Ruth has been looking scruffy for a while, and Tillie is looking a bit scruffy too- but no big molts! Round Chicken has been looking the same the whole time!!
