100% accurate haha
I need to go bring them water at least & that will give them a great opportunity to glare
I sometimes have to spy on mine out the window because if they hear the door open they IMMEDIATELY go into glaring positions
 
Also a side note if any of y'all have a raised back porch I think it would be a GREAT, SUPER easy thing to make into a run, because:
it's large
It's fully roofed
it's already framed and easy to enclose with HC
no building required
probably tall enough to walk into
Unfortunately my parents didn't go for that, and we wouldn't really be able to place a coop on either side of the porch, so it didn't work out for me, but I think it's a GREAT idea

kinda roofed. if it's just decking then there will be gaps. but still probably good enough for the chickens.

Having chickens that close to your house would make for a very smelly porch.
