Yup. I personally prefer sitting up against something, with my knee up so I can rest my arm on my knee.

I'm still laying down because I haven't scored high enough to move up to kneeling

It's fun! You could come out this way, lol. West River is pretty good. Here's a pic of a great grouse field we were going to pass shoot at with a Mule Deer photobomber.

Ahh, that makes sense.

I need to get 20? or maybe 10? rounds where I shoot one bullet at each of the 5 targets, and get a combined score of over 20. Then I can move up to......try to get 3 more awards in prone

That's cool! Do you shoot multiple kinds of guns? Or just the one?

Just the one. I know that it's a rifle and you put each bullet in by hand...that is the full extent of my knowledge. I'm much better at archery.
