Farm chatter

Well I have more than enough put away for the duck eggs and stuff themselves, I just mean the coop and run went slightly over budget.
Maybe to get a bit more money for the coop and run, you could not buy as many duck eggs? I think you planned on buying more than you were going to keep, so that you could sell some, right? Well, you'll save more from the start, and there's always a chance that you can't find homes for the ducks you need to sell.

Also, maybe you could ask your parents to help pay for the run/coop stuff you need, and pay them back later?

I have found that ducks are far more vulnerable to predators, likely because they can’t lift themselves off the ground, and are slower. You have to be extra cautious with them and create a bullet proof run!
Mine also seem to be more vulnerable, but mine are also very aware when there are predators. I always see them staring up at the sky when they see a hawk, and running under tree cover. My chickens just run about in a wide open field not caring if there is a hawk or not, lol.

And remember, kids: "No," means "no." Don't push it. And kids, if someone tries to push it... well. Unleash the bathroom scales.
(Seriously -- be firm. Say "no," if you don't want something, and make sure that the person knows that you're serious).

I do have one horse but my intention is to find a companion. It’s difficult to find the right one. Every time I do fine s good horse someone had bought it or it’s just not for sale anymore :hmm
aww okay
Today we're going to Appeal, & get a Lawyer.

Cuz I've been mentally disabled since I was diagnosed when I was a little kid, so it's a pre-existing condition I was most likely born with, & was told it would not improve.
okay, good luck
That's mah jobb
provide cursed images
panikkkkkkkkkkk
I'm thinking about finally starting that etsy business where I crochet cat toys. I already have patterns (most of which I made, and one which I'm allowed to use) to make a fish one, a mouse one, a jellyfish one, and an octopus one. I also have catnip, and acrylic yarn is cheap, but I'm kinda lazy, and I'd have to make like 21 of each type (cat, mouse, etc) because I'd like to offer them in the full rainbow, and I'd make three of each before publishing the listing. Maybe I'll put myself on a schedule of two per week and I"ll finish one listing in like 2.5 months
Or should I do all the types and get them set up, then just keep making them to keep in stock
ooh that's cool! but if you feel kind of pressured, i would maybe cut it down a bit, or wait until you finish to start the business
Me in study hall: I have a midterm tomorrow, I should study
also me, distracted by the other kids: ooooooooh hehe paper ninja stars
how many pieces? hehe
Should I add Project Wheaten Crele Orpington eggs, Brahma Eggs, & Silkie eggs to the incubator along with my Malay eggs, or should I wait, after I hatch the Malays?
hm, do you think that would be too much?

I could probably ask them. Also I’m getting so many eggs on account of some not hatching, so say I get 3 of each breed. For whatever reason, all 3 of one breed are early quitters, then I have no more of one of the breeds I wanted. But if I have say 7 of each breed, surly at least 1-3 will progress to a hatch.

Yeah, that makes sense. Since you also may not be able to sex them, have you looked into getting sexed ducklings instead? I think that would be cheaper.

My incubator holds 56 eggs, & I've filled it to the max one year.

I’m most likely gonna have at least a few to be golden layers, like in place of my rouens or Campbells because they look a lot like them anyway

Where are you getting your eggs from? And how much are they? I could go look up duckling prices for you, if you want.
