Guys, my pond pump arrived recently and all I have to do is order the pond liner. Then I can start making the new girls’ pond!

All but one Orpington roo that I've had has been really sweet too. Brahmas are usually gentle giants as well. I did have one jerk Lavender Orpington but he was American bloodline, not English. I wonder if that had something to do with it. lol

My friends' neighbors have some purebred english orps. Chocolate and white. Each color has a rooster with two hens. The roosters are HUGE and GORGEOUS. They (the roosters and the humans) let us pet them and we fed them right out of our hands. Amazing.

Mine isn't done yet. I need more quail pics! As I'm writing this I realize that some of you guys might have quail.

I do! Bobwhites though.

I love big chickens! The heavier the better. The hawks don't bother them and they can't fly out of their free range area. lol! Plus, FLUFFY BUTTS!

Me too! It's not official or anything, but I may be getting some english orpingtons this spring.
