Maran is a dedicated Alpha, & will keep everyone in place. Seems like he was kicked to the very bottom of the pecking order.

My Dad's Bourbon Red Turkey hen doesn't like him much either for some reason. She'll chase him around puffed up, & cooing.

Poor boy. Hopefully they work it out.

I think it happened a year ago when the boys were having a tussle, she got in the way, & accidentally got kicked in the head by him.
