I just found a picture of Ukon when he was a baby! This was before I even got him. I bet you can tell which one he is lol. He's the only fluffy one! (The pink lines are over the females)

Those are her parents. Do not suggest going against what her parents say. I know that she’ll do her best to make sure that all her chickens are in good care.

I'm not trying to suggest that. I'm trying to get her to keep talking about what she wants to do with the new birds, & her roosters.

Thank you! I don't intend to keep the roosters but they're to small to eat yet and nobody wants to buy them in winter. I think that my mother may be thinking that I want to build a pen and everything for the roosters so I may still be able to get a temporary rooster flock if I put them in a pen that I already have.

Their ages vary between 4-6 months old. The 4 month olds aren't causing much trouble but the four oldest ones are.

The older guys just hit puberty then. They tend to be rowdy at that age.

I eat cockerels between 6-8 months old. Sometimes I wait as long as 10 months to make sure they built up enough meat. The skinnier guys are best in soup.
