Mine actually ran hot the first time too I just remembered and I had to program mine a couple degrees lower than it’s supposed to be in order to keep it at the correct temperature. The turner also makes it a little hotter. There is a calibration thing I think but I’m not sure how to use it or exactly what it does so what I do is I just set the actual temperature lower rather than using that thing.

So for example, if it’s supposed to be 99.5, I keep mine set at 97.5 and that works. So I would try adjusting the temperature setting before sending it back as that can be a hassle. Not every incubator comes out perfect and they sometimes are a little bit off but I found that setting mine lower made it perfect.

It's working now. I have it set at 98.0°F, with a calibration of 1.9.

My old incubator, before these two, there was no saving it. It persisted to go to chick cooking temps. 124°F, I believe was the temperature it made it too if I'm remembering correctly.
