basically it was in the middle of an office complex, maybe 5 feet off the road, eating a squirrel, but screeching when I got there and still screeching an hour later when my appt was over... so I went to catch it with a sheet and it let me get maybe 5 feet from it before it took off for the nearest trees lowest branch, still just squawking the whole time. when he came back down, I tried again, and one last time, and he finally picked up his squirrel and flew off for real. someone else said they saw him limping.

That's abit unusual for a hawk.

yeah all said it screeched for at least 2 hours. I didn't ask the people who were watching it how long it had already been doing it.

I'd keep an eye out for more strange behaviors from birds, wild birds in particular.

Does anyone else make gravestones fore their chickens? I did for my favorite one growing up named Happy Feet when she was attacked by a dog and I made a gravestone for her when I was like 8
