Does anyone else make gravestones fore their chickens? I did for my favorite one growing up named Happy Feet when she was attacked by a dog and I made a gravestone for her when I was like 8
I made a gravestone (just wrote in sharpie on a brick) for my first goldfish when it died. I was 20. 😂😅
We buried Hei Hei (millie fleur dccle) and planted a jasmine plant on top of him, but didn't otherwise mark it. Flip Flop's (peachick) grave is marked with a metal peacock thingy with one of those solar color-changing light up balls.
But I just throw the other dead birds away or use them as bait for a live trap.

I checked the date today, Goldie's eggs are going to hatch on the 14th! She only has 3 eggs left, I think a snake may have gotten 2 of the bantam eggs, so she's still got the two easter eggs and I replaced one of the bantam eggs.

My guineas hatched 12 babies today, they can't raise them here because in the long grass in the field, the babies get lost. Also the predators get them. So I put them up in a pen connected to my chicken coop, I used to use it for a run before I decided to free- range my chickens. I got both of the parents to go up with them, and I gave them food and water. I'm planning on keeping them up for like a week once the babies get big enough to keep up with the parents.

I really want to get NPIP Certified, sent them a message twice back in 2019, & they never responded.

My mom sent them a message, & she never got a reply back. This was like maybe a week, or two ago.

If I have to, I'll go under the radar.
