They're really cute but they have a pretty strong dislike for me, lol! In general, they seem much easier than chickens. I really like that they start laying eggs so early too. Mine are right at 6 weeks old so I'm going to start keeping an eye out for eggs. I've never actually eaten a quail egg before.
Another pro, for me at least, is their "crows" sound kind of like a Mockingbird with a laser gun, lol! It's certainly not a sound that would bother my neighbors so I'll also be able to keep some males!

I was hoping to quail-ify one of my horse stalls and keep some in there. They’re adorable, and I’d love to sell their eggs and meat at the market.

I think it's a great idea! Even if you decide you don't enjoy keeping them, if you are planning to butcher them anyway that seems like a pretty easy fix, lol.
