You can't see it in this picture, but he has a bit of gold leakage on his hackle feathers.

He's blue. Leakage does happen sometimes.

Do you know what color chicks from breeding blue x white? Sorry for all the questions.

stress from the move.. or maybe they weren't actually laying to begin with

Dominant white allows color leakage.
Recessive White covers all colors, & has no leakage.

Any thoughts on this guy? Or is breed significant when figuring out white?

hes got black in that one tail feather and a smidgen of black and off-white elsewhere.

Breeding my Blue Partridge rooster to a White hen resulted in a Blue Partridge.

It may work in your case, but only way to know for sure is to breed them together.

He's an American Game. He looks like a Cream.

What age did yours start laying? Mine is almost 9 months now, and still no eggs.

6-7 months, to 7-8 months. Some silkies don't start laying until after 1yr of age.

Hes not pure. Theres some orpington in there. I think 1/4 but not entirely sure.

He looks pure. He should be more puffy in appearance if he were mixed. But who knows.
