that gives me 9 chickens which is what I promised

and apparently 2 more that aren't distinctive enough to stand out in my head haha

and then I'll be down to only cockrells I wanna keep

except the chicks that are inevitably male & the one young cockrell

I have a spiral egg holder. Since I have no layers at the moment, it's not on the counter. I ordered it on amazon, and it was called an Egg Skelter. (I think.) The idea is you take the bottom, oldest egg, and the rest roll down. It sort of works. I like it for the ease of storing fresh eggs on the counter, and the fact that it looks cute.
