And no, I did not just get up. I got up around 5 this morning. Did farm chores here, then went to my cousin's house to do work there.

Jerky? Is that the same as biltong?

Never heard of that... But yes, jerky is dried strips of usually dark meat. I've made goose jerky, grouse jerky, deer jerky, and Sandhill crane jerky.
