Farm chatter

If you say boarding horses brings in a lot of money, I’ve got 3 empty stalls and pasture just waiting to bring in money...

but, my trainer has boarded horses at her place for years, and she says it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. You will get people who want to board with you, but turn out to mistreat their horses or not pay their board fee. You always have to be careful!

However, I do think about it often. It would help me pay for my dream-ducks!
I don't say it- my friend does. From what I understand, you house and care for the horse while the person boarding pays for feed, hay/bedding, medical stuff, as well as other things (like new horseshoes) and provides tack. The person also obviously pays for your care and the use of your space. Maybe talk to your trainer about it more?

Of course that’s right, my point is that some people just WONT pay the board, so you can’t get much money out of it if that happens :lau

(it’s not something that always happens but there are people like that)
