Ruth being a weirdo.....I picked her up to put her on the hard packed snow, but she *chose* to fly into the deep snow. She did not know what to do at this point and just stood there until I took pity on her and moved her back to the hard snow. "I have lost the ability to exist, thank you'View attachment 2455011
Inside of the run with Tillie saying hi. @SBFChickenGirl I took your idea of spreading some hay and they loved it.

Remember: Tillie IS judging you for being out in the snow after the party ended.
Oh my goodness!!!! Wonderful pics!!!!
Glad you tried the straw!!! And I love the wreath!!!!!
I forgot to mention that yesterday, when it was still light and fluffy snow, I placed poppy in the snow when it was still sinkable. She sunk down a bit and decided that the only logical solution to this problem was to fly straight up like a helicopter. This didn't work because chickens aren't helicopters, but poppy was not aware of this fact. She almost got out of the snow, tripped on it, and flew a couple feet just above the snow. She landed and promptly sunk in again. I put her back in the coop because I felt bad.
That's pretty much what happens every time XD XD

I do not speak your alien chicken language. (I dont know a lot of the chicken acronyms)
