I could never find the chickens’ water heater so it’s a good thing it didn’t freeze! It’s was 18° yesterday morning and it warmed up to 47°!!! That’s warm enough that I was able to sit out with the girls in their run!

Nope, they still curl up when I pick them up, and if they don't, they curl up when I pick them upside down. I think I might want to name one Pirate.

Never mind. I take that back. It ALL froze. My dad texted me and told me “nothing froze!” But I think he meant none of the HEATED buckets froze. I stood on the trough ice again! I’m going to check out the pond here in a minute as well.
