Farm chatter

@human1 it was sad. He was disbudded as a kid but they were idiots and did a horrible job. His horns grew but one twisted and grew straight out hence the unicorn. The other twisted and grew back towards his skull. After a while it was gonna go into or at least against his skull so I was looking at getting it removed.
One day he escaped was was headed to the other side of the road cause the grass is apparently always greener there. He got hit by a truck and after 17 1/2 cartwheels and a poorly stuck landing he quickly returned to the gate. He only sustained a little road rash but it also cleanly removed his problem horn. Right at proper location and it hardly bled and healed quickly.
He then finished his life as a proper unicorn.
Sad reaction for the generally sad post, but I'm glad he got at least a mildly happy ending.

that's a heckuva story. I'm so glad the problem horn is somehow the only thing that was injured in the accident.

I am about to file goats up there with cockroaches in "apocalypse survivability"

While we're here, let's talk about unicorns.
They are great for creating new color variations in silkies. I call this color 'Rainboe'
