BTK. Which was a serial killer we had in the area but his name actually was short for Billy the kid.
I never smelled his "corn". He was an intact male and if you've ever had one you would know why the last thing you'd want to do is go around smelling them.

Yeah, it's dead.

Maybe bacterial infection. The coloration inside the egg says possible bacterial infection.

An eggtopsy will confirm it.

There's so many possible causes. Genetics, deformities, bacteria, incubation issues, etc.
I have things like that happen too.
