The EE I waited on for 10½ months to lay finally did so.
It's a very beautiful green. Here it is compared to a pale blue egg.

I'll have to relieve seeing a hawk on top of one of my pullets.
And losing Lefty.
And losing Eclipse and Shade... and Simnel....
