The pullet is fine, by the way -- just missing a chunk of skin on her throat.
She's downstairs right now. She'll be in for a while.

I only bury things I have an emotional attachment to.
like dogs and cats and one rooster named heihei and one peachick named flip flop
and my first fish, years ago

I feed the dead birds to the coyotes. I always have an attachment to my birds. You get used to chicks dying in their eggs after awhile.
