Maybe if you want people to read her name as 'eh-vee' and not 'ee-vee' you should spell it like: Evvie or Evvy

So I tell her to sit, then I say ‘wait’ and walk to another room. She has to sit and stay there until I call her in with me

Good point. I always tell people how to say it though and I don’t think I can change her name now lol

It is, that was the first thing my cat learned (I’m a cat trainer too!). I won’t be doing that for a while though since I’m focused on certain things at once.

I can set the doggy crate in the run, fill it with straw, & put a couple fake eggs in there to teach them where to sit.
